Nike Maternity
When it comes to marketing, some things can just be so obvious. So obvious that you find yourself asking, “Why didn’t they do that before?”
Take the new line of maternity wear from Nike. Obvious. Why didn’t they do that before?
Fits perfectly with the Nike brand … staying active and fit throughout pregnancy. An entire new level of weekend warrior. Just do it!
Or as the brand says … “Designed for the ultra ultra marathon, Motherhood.” Indeed. Love it!
The best line extensions are the ones that stay true to the brand and meet an unmet need. Not sure I’ve seen a lot of maternity work out wear (some for sure), but this one certainly makes a lot of sense for Nike. I bet it builds brand loyalty for before and after the baby arrives as well! Isn’t that the point of good marketing?
