It’s always amazing to see rivals come together for a cause. And there’s no rivalry bigger than the burger wars … even though two of the biggest industry players have played off of each other quite a few times. Competitors putting aside their competition to send a message.
In Argentina, Burger King stopped selling its Whoppers to support a McDonald’s charity effort for children’s cancer, sending customers to its competitor to buy Big Macs instead. Have you ever seen that before?
And now in Finland we have Burger King supporting Pride with “Love Conquers All,” a campaign showing its mascot kissing Ronald McDonald. Have you ever seen that?
“Love Conquers All,” including us all getting along. I want to see more of that!
