"Same Love" #MusicMonday

When I wrote my book “Out and About Dad,” I included a playlist that represented the soundtrack of my journey as a dad. Towards the bottom of that playlist was a song that had come out a few years prior that just fit the bill for the conclusion of the music and the book. “Same Love” by Macklemore.

I’m bringing it back for #MusicMonday as a reminder that while Pride Month is in June, we should remember that Pride is all year long. Because hey, it’s all about love.

“I can’t change even if I tried even if I wanted to.”

And we all have the same love. To quote another fav song of mine for Pride from Kylie Minogue:

“Love is love it never ends, can we all be as one again.”
