The First Google Store

The world’s first Google store just opened up in Manhattan, NY, in the company’s headquarters building in the Chelsea neighborhood. Some have said that the look is more of a showroom, but there are certainly products and branded merchandise to purchase. After several pop-up experiences through the years, many. are also speculating that this will be the first of many.

Seems like it makes sense … and certainly makes the brand feel more tangible in a way which is important. If the company uses this space as a way to launch more permanent type experiences, all the better. All the brand better. Should it take on the Apple store? Not sure it needs to.
