Kanye West Enters the Fast Food Wars
Here’s where pop culture meets social issues meets one of the most competitive categories on the planet.
Kanye West released a song on his new album called “Closed on Sunday,” which was inspired by Chick-fil-A which is closed on Sunday based on its belief system. Kanye actually noted the brand in the song lyrics.
The song, and its long anticipated release, caused a social media frenzy as you can imagine. Chick-fil-A, I am sure, was delighted. Burger King decided to seize the moment and make a social media comment:
Now this isn’t the first time that fast food brands have commented on each other. It’s becoming standard practice in a way. And it’s great fun to watch. Let the fast food wars rage on!
