It’s Monday, again. Another week in (now partial) lockdown working from home. It’s hard. Really hard. It’s hard not to be moving around during the day and the week. Sitting in front of a screen hour after hour day after day is wearing us down. So I’ve been forcing myself to go out for a long walk/run every day just to get away from my screen and get my blood flowing. It’s made a huge difference.

Even if it’s just for 20 minutes. Give it a try today. Start moving.

Give yourself a little boost and walk to some music. It’lI lift your spirit. I found a Donna Summer megamix that is exactly 20 minutes long … perfect for a short little walk. I defy you not to get up and move when you play this music. Even if you’re still in your chair, I bet you’ll be tapping your feet and wiggling your body. Dancing in your chair isn’t so bad either.

So plug in your earbuds and get outside for a walk today. It’ll do your mind and body good.
