"Mother" by Michael Buble #MusicMonday
Yesterday was Mother’s Day here in the U.S. where we celebrate all the Mothers and Mother-Figures and all they do for their loved ones. Whether they fit the “official” definition of “Mother” or in some other way play the role.
My mom always used to say, “you don’t have to be a mother to be a mother,” as she looked out for many of our friends. Fur babies too.
I just love this song from Michael Buble, in honor of his mother. I always get pulled in by the lyrics, and this one is in solid form for all the mothers out there. So inspiring.
Happy Mother’s day … yesterday, today, and everyday.
This year holds new meaning for me personally. I lost my mom several years ago but we do still have my husband’s mom which is amazing. But this year our daughter became a mother for the first time. Experiencing her as a mother is yet again one of life’s greatest gifts. And it keeps on giving every single day as she sends me a text of her baby boy every morning. What a great way to wake up!
